The Chinese qualifier extended her fairy-tale run by beating compatriot and world No. 99 Wang Qiang 6-3, 6-4 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) on Friday to reach her first-ever semi-final on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour.
