Ferrer and Dimitrov pass second round test in Malaysian Open

KUALA LUMPUR: It was a tough examination for both David Ferrer (pic, below) and Grigor Dimitrov but they passed their test in the second round of the Malaysian Open.

Fourth seed Dimitrov, playing his first match on Thursday after receiving a first round bye, had to dig deep into his reserves to pull off a 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over former champion Joao Sousa of Portugal.
