(Reuters) - Albert Montanes warmed up for the French Open in perfect fashion with a 6-0 7-6 victory over Gael Monfils in the final of the Nice Open on Saturday as he claimed his sixth career title.

Only a rain break during the fifth game could interrupt the Spaniard's march to the first set with Frenchman Monfils taking until the second game of the second set to hold serve.
