Hoe Yean delivers second medal for Malaysia at Asian C’ships


PETALING JAYA: Swimmer Khiew Hoe Yean (pic) saved Malaysia the blushes with a commendable effort to make his first individual podium at the Asian Aquatics Championships in Ahmedabad, India.

Hoe Yean, who turned 23 last month, clocked a time of 3:52.69s to place third in the final at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex.
