Yin Chuen betters national mark in his World Shortcourse C’ships debut


PETALING JAYA: Lim Yin Chuen made it a memorable day for himself by smashing the national record in his World Shortcourse Swimming Championships debut in Budapest, Hungary, yesterday.

The 23-year-old swimmer from Penang lowered his own national record after posting 48.49s to finish 45th overall in the men’s 100m freestyle heats.
