PETALING JAYA: Swimmer Khiew Hoe Yean can afford to break into a smile after three days of campaign in the World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

The 21-year-old got his wish to return home with at least a personal best in the bag after he smashing his own national record in the men’s 800m freestyle event yesterday.
