Back home: Jinq En had to leave the United States in July after her student visa expired.

PETALING JAYA: Swimmer Phee Jinq En’s decision to train in the United States has been given the green light by the National Sports Council (NSC) and Malaysia Swimming. The Philippines SEA Games double gold medallist had expressed her intention to return to the US to train and prepare for qualification for next year’s Tokyo Olympics.

NSC had a working committee meeting yesterday and Malaysia Swimming secretary Mae Chen said Jinq En would be supported under the Road to Tokyo programme as agreed upon.
