PETALING JAYA: Butterfly specialist Chan Jie swam his way to the World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea, next month after a personal breakthrough at the Singapore Open swimming championships.
The 22-year-old clocked a personal best time of 53.75 in the morning heats of the men’s 100m butterfly yesterday to book his ticket for the world meet.
