Dr Mahathir has called on the French leader Macron to reject the proposed ban on palm oil in biofuels, adding that the trade relationship between the two countries depended on mutual respect for each other's commodities.

PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): The government maintains its stand of prohibiting Israeli athletes from competing in the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships in Kuching from July 29 to Aug 4, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The Prime Minister said that if the Israeli squad insisted on participating in the championships, it would be a violation of the ban.
