Duncan Lee falls short in Japan Open final

PETALING JAYA: National squash player Duncan Lee fell short of capturing the Japan Open title on Monday (Oct 13).

World No. 105 Duncan lost to third seed Samuel Osborne-Wylde of England 6-11, 10-12, 5-11 at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square in Tokyo.

It was Duncan’s first 15K final appearance in Japan, and his fourth final of the year.

In July, the 23-year-old won the SEA Cup in Bangkok, then won the National Championship title in Penang and the Reliance PSA Challenger 6K in India last month.
