Duncan Lee

PETALING JAYA: It was a double delight for Malaysia in squash after clinching two titles at the Reliance PSA Challenger Championships in Colombo on Sunday (Sept 21).

The final at the Air Force Squash Complex in Ratmalana saw Duncan Lee take on Egypt’s Omar El Torkey in the men’s event.

Third seed Duncan was made to work hard by El Torkey but displayed resilience to prevail 6-11, 12-10, 11-4, 11-3 in 50 minutes for the crown.

Earlier in the women’s event, fifth seed Zoe Foo came out tops against Indonesia’s Raifa Yattaqi.

Despite facing stiff resistance, Zoe held her nerve to secure an 11-6, 7-11, 11-6, 13-11 win in 44 minutes.

It was made sweeter as the triumph marked her first title of the year.
