PETALING JAYA: National squash player Aqil Mirza Naim Khairil Fariz (pic) is hitting the books after missing out on the World Junior Championships in Egypt.

Malaysia’s decision to pull out of the tournament has left 12 rising players, including the 17-year-old Aqil, unable to compete in Cairo following tensions in the Middle East between Israel and Iran.
