PETALING JAYA: National squash player S. Sivasangari kept Malaysia’s hopes alive at the British Open after charging into the third round by defeating India’s Anahat Singh yesterday.
World No. 9 Sivasangari went a little longer than usual but managed to seal the victory against world No. 56 Anahat by winning 12-10, 9-11, 11-8, 11-7 in 45 minutes in their first meeting at the Rep Theatre in Birmingham.
