PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s challenge at the British Junior Open in Birmingham came to an end as all squash players failed to clear their quarter-final hurdles.

In the boys’ Under-17 category, Asian Junior champion M. Nickhileswar missed a chance to claim a second British Junior Open title after the fifth seed lost 11-7, 7-11, 11-2, 11-7 to Egypt’s third seed Seifeldin Refaay in the quarter-finals yesterday.
