PETALING JAYA: Ng Eain Yow played probably his best match of the year but it was still not good enough to stay alive in the London Classic.

Former world champion Karim Abdel Gawad’s experience won the day as the Egyptian pulled off a narrow 15-13, 11-9 win against Eain Yow in an entertaining 33-minute match to reach the quarter-finals on Friday.
