PETALING JAYA: Squash player Aira Azman wanted to emulate legendary Datuk Nicol David’s feat by ending the country’s 22-year wait for a world junior title but it just did not happen.

In fact, Aira’s high hopes came crashing down in just 31 minutes as she lost 8-11, 5-11, 1-11 to 16-year-old Egyptian terror Amina Orfi in a one-sided girls’ individual final at the World Junior Championships in Melbourne yesterday.
