Only three Malaysians clear first hurdle at World C’ships


PETALING JAYA: Irish Open champion Ng Eain Yow (pic) was joined by S. Sivasangari and Aifa Azman in the second round of the World Championships in Chicago as the others crashed out on Thursday.

Eain Yow, the world No. 20, easily overcame Abhay Singh of India 11-2, 11-5, 11-6 to continue his fine form that led him to win the Irish crown two weeks ago.
