PETALING JAYA: Training with the best has brought out the A-game in C. Ameeshenraj.

On Sunday, the 19-year-old Ameeshenraj, inspired by his regular training sessions with national No. 1 Ng Eain Yow and Egyptian Marwan El Shorbagy, ended his run in the Northumbria Open in superb fashion by beating Elijah Thomas of New Zealand 11-3, 11-3, 11-9 in the final in Newcastle, England.
