Eain Yow amazes former world champ Gawad before bowing out


Great show: Ng Eain Yow showcased his talent despite a quarter-final exit.

PETALING JAYA: Ng Eain Yow can still walk tall despite his quarter-final exit in the Optasia squash championships after giving former world champion Karim Abdel Gawad a helluva fight in London.

The world No. 23 battled hard but Gawad, the 2016 world champion, used his experience to secure a hard-earned 16-14, 7-11, 12-10, 11-8 victory in 65 minutes.
