Eain Yow bows out after Makin-g it tough for Joel in Singapore

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian No. 1 Ng Eain Yow (pic) bowed out of the Singapore Squash Open yesterday but he did not let Welshman Joel Makin have an easy way to the semis.

World No. 9 Makin was forced to dig deep to come through his quarter-final contest with Eain Yow, winning 11-9, 11-3, 8-11, 11-8 after 65 minutes of high quality action.
