PETALING JAYA: Defending champions Malaysia are playing down their chances at the Asian Team Squash Championships in Cheongju, South Korea (Oct 31-Nov 4) with the absence of S. Sivasangari (pic) and an injury to Ivan Yuen.
Sivasangari steered Malaysia to defeat Hong Kong 2-1 to lift the women’s crown while the men also notched an identical win over India at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil last year.
