Our juniors suffer scare en route to KO stage in world meet

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia moved into the knockout stage of the World Junior Championships men’s team event but not without a scare in Nancy, France.

The boys booked their spot after a 2-1 win over Canada in the Group D match on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, they had whitewashed Switzerland 3-0 but leading player Joachim Chuah’s form was a major concern.
