KUALA LUMPUR: A hip injury took its toll on national No. 1 Low Wee Wern (pic) as she lost in straight sets to third seed Nouran Gohar of Egypt in the Windy City Open in Chicago, United States.
The Penangite, who suffered the injury after falling on the court in the first round match against Jasmine Hutton of England on Thursday, lost 7-11,4-11,2-11 in 25 minutes on Friday.
