KUALA LUMPUR: National junior squash player Amir Amirul Azhar aims to get past the pain barrier as he chases the Under-19 title at the CIMB Foundation Junior Grand Final this weekend.
Amirul, who is the top seed, injured his glutes two weeks ago during training but showed no sign of discomfort when he strolled past South Korea’s Ryu Ho-je 11-5,11-5,11-4 in the first round at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday.
