The national No. 1 put a heroic performance in the men’s singles semi-finals on Saturday but a bout of fever he picked up two days earlier took a toll on him as he bowed out 11-5, 11-6, 5-11, 5-11, 9-11 to Hong Kong’s Max Lee at the Gelora Bung Karno Squash Stadium.
