GOLD COAST: Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan has claimed a major career breakthrough by reaching the semi-finals of the Commonwealth Games.

The national No. 1 did it in style as he dumped top seed and defending champion Nick Matthew of England 11-7, 6-11, 12-10, 4-11, 11-6 in the quarter-finals at the Oxenford Studios on Saturday.
