PETALING JAYA: Low Wee Wern overcame nerves to check into the second qualifying round of the US$25,000 (RM102,000) HKFC International squash championships.

The former world No. 5, who has struggled to regain fitness and form after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury last year, managed to pull off an 11-4, 12-10, 11-4 win over homester Tong Tsz Wing in the first round on Monday.
