Zoe springs back into life to help steer Malaysia past Germany


Zoe bounced back to help Malaysia win 3-0 against Germany in the team event of the World Junior Squash Championships in Eindhoven, Holland.

PETALING JAYA: Zoe Foo showed maturity beyond her age to bounce back from the disappointment in the individual event to help Malaysia get off to a winning start in the team competition of the World Junior Squash Championships in Eindhoven, Holland.

The 16-year-old, who came so close to making the last 16 of the individual event before going down 6-11, 10-12, 11-9, 11-5, 3-11 to fifth-eighth seed Sabrina Sobhy of the United States, was back in her element to guide Malaysia to a 3-0 win over Germany in their opening Group D match on Friday.
