SINGAPORE: World No. 1 Nicol David continued her wobbly form this year after crashing out in the semi-finals of the Alexandria International Open.

The 31-year-old, once unbeatable but vulnerable in recent weeks, was unable to get the better of Egypt’s Omneya Abdel Kawy, falling to a 7-11, 7-11, 11-8, 11-1, 10-12 defeat in the Egyptian port city on Tuesday.
