GEORGE TOWN: Mohd Farez Izwan is Malaysia’s lone hope in the boys’ Under-19 event of the national junior squash meet.

The 17-year-old from Selangor survived an energy-sapping quarter-final tie against Penang’s Ryan Pasqual to move into the last four at the Nicol David International Squash Centre.
