PETALING JAYA: World No. 1 Nicol David blitzed into the quarter-finals of the US$150,000 (RM543,000) Windy City Open to set up a mouth-watering rematch with England’s Alison Waters.

The 31-year-old Penangite was on top of her game as she thumped Egypt’s world No. 26 Heba El Torky 11-5, 11-4, 11-7 in the second round in Chicago on Friday.
