Min Jie falls short of first pro squash title

PETALING JAYA: World No. 91 Teh Min Jie’s hopes of winning her first professional title went up in smoke after losing a close battle to Egypt’s Nour El Torky in the final of the Malaysian Tour Squash Circuit (SSJM) in Malacca yesterday.

The 18-year-old Min Jie had done well to reach the final in the eighth leg of the circuit but found world No. 90 Nouran just too tough to handle as she went down 6-11, 11-9, 2-11, 6-11.
