PETALING JAYA: National No. 1 Ong Beng Hee was left ashen-faced after suffering a stunning first round defeat at the Maharashtra State Open in Bombay on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old Beng Hee, fresh from winning his second national title on Sunday, was beaten 11-4, 11-13, 11-9, 9-11, 10-12 by Egyptian youngster Zahed Mohamed.
