Alia had to double check after matching world 25m pistol record

Shot in the arm: Alia Sazana Azahari equalled the women’s 25m pistol world mark en route to the gold medal in the Selangor Shooting Championship yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: National shooter Alia Sazana Azahari has made up for missing the Paris Olympics this year by putting up a magnificent performance at the Selangor Shooting Championship yesterday.

Alia had to double check her scores as she did not believe she had equalled the world record of 42 points in the 25m women’s pistol event at the National Shooting Range in Subang.
