Benchmark in Cairo not out of Alia’s shooting range


PETALING JAYA: Shooter Alia Sazana Azhari has been set a benchmark of 578 points to achieve in the women’s 25m pistol event at the World Cup in Cairo from Feb 17-28.

National coach Firdaus Abdul Rahim feels Alia has been showing good progress and should be able to achieve that score as she gears up for the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, from Aug 14-Sept 3.
