Door not closed on shooting duo in quest to qualify for world meet

Golden chance: Alia Sazana will compete in the World Cup in Cairo to qualify for the World Championships.

PETALING JAYA: Pistol shooters Johnathan Wong and Nurul Syasya Nadiah Ariffin may have missed their opportunity to seal a place in the World Championships following their setback in the Jakarta World Cup last week but it is not the end of the world for them.

National coach Firdaus Abdul Rahim said the duo will get their opportunity to qualify for the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan (Aug 14-Sept 3) by meeting the qualifying mark in three local competitions in the coming months.
