Johnathan and Syasya miss target of reaching finals in World Cup


Off target: Johnathan Wong and Nurul Syasya Nadiah Ariffin finished 16th and 14th respectively in the qualifying round of their events at the World Cup in Jakarta.

PETALING JAYA: Johnathan Wong and Nurul Syasya Nadiah Ariffin’s target of qualifying for the 10m air pistol finals at the World Cup fizzled out in Jakarta yesterday.

Johnathan scored 570 points in the qualifying rounds to finish 16th out of 33 shooters in the men’s 10m air pistol where eight qualified for the final.
