PETALING JAYA: Winning a gold medal in Jakarta has whetted the appetite of national shooter Nurul Syasya Nadiah Ariffin for more victories.
The 19-year-old fired down the gold in the women’s 10m air pistol event in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Grand Prix Rifle and Pistol competition on Friday. Syasya scored 17 points to beat Singapore’s Teh Xiu Ong (7) in the gold medal match.
