PETALING JAYA: The National Shooting Association of Malaysia (NSAM) plan to hold two domestic competitions from September to December but have yet to get the green light from the relevant authorities.
NSAM sent their standard operating procedures (SOP) to host the competitions to the National Security Council (MKN) two weeks ago but have yet to get a response.
National team manager Datuk Musa Omar said the tournaments will serve as preparation for next year’s Vietnam SEA Games.
The two meets – National Shooting Championships and Tun Hanif Trophy – will be held at the National Shooting Range in Subang if approval is given.
“We were supposed to have one meet this month. Hopefully we can have one in October, ” said Musa.
