Shahera targets SEA Games spot after shooting down a double


PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur shooter Shahera Rahim Raja (pic) capped a fine run in the 10m air rifle events with two gold medals at the Selangor Shooting Champ-ionships in Subang Jaya.

The 34-year-old veteran took the individual gold medal by the slimmest of margins in edging out Armed Forces Nur Suryani Taibi yesterday. Shahera shot a 245.6 while Suryani took the silver with 245 points. Selangor’s Nurlissa Erinna Wan Yusoff took bronze with 220.8 points.
