Despite injuring his face in a nasty fall, national shooter Choo Wen Yan managed to qualify for the Commonwealth Games in the 10m air pistol event at the Selangor Open championships on Saturday.
PETALING JAYA: National shooter Choo Wen Yan had a nasty fall after training in Bukit Jalil on Thursday. He suffered bruises on his right cheek, cuts below the nose and the chin and lost two teeth!
The 21-year-old Batu Pahat-born shooter was advised by the doctor to take a week’s rest.
