FAM must not let one man take the blame for shortcomings


THE “Tabik Orang Atas” (Saluting the top) mentality is heavily ingrained in our culture. There is a sense of fear if we go against the top. That has to change if we want things to be right in our national football team.

We must have the temerity to question what’s not done rightly and accordingly. In the wake of national football coach Tan Cheng Hoe’s resignation following the dismal outing at the recent AFF Suzuki Cup, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) must consider a thorough probe into the shortcomings.
