IT’S been a tough start to the season for Manchester United fans – something I’m very aware of from the anguished complaints of my Man U supporting brother.
Two wins and two losses (including the chastening 3-0 home defeat to Spurs) from the opening four league games does not suggest that a title challenge is brewing. A club that enjoyed years of success and stability under Sir Alex Ferguson are now losing their way, and losing something of their identity in the process.
