What's it like to cover the SEA Games for the first time?

The writer (right) with Sin Chew Jit Poh journalist Soh Sin Wee during the opening ceremony of the Singapore SEA Games at the National Stadium.

So, what has it been like? I’d say it’s a lot like Beardyman’s song Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat. Except that rave doesn’t really figure in our routine here.

It’s more of Eat (when you can), Sleep (as long as you can), Work (tweet, shoot videos, writing a three paragraph newsbreak for Star Online, interview athletes for quotes and write the article for StarSport whilst waiting for the cab to move on to the next venue!) and, yes, Repeat.
