Italy assistant Catt to join Ireland coaching team after World Cup

DUBLIN (Reuters) - Italy assistant coach Mike Catt will join Ireland's coaching staff in a deal through to 2023 following this year's World Cup in Japan, the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) said on Sunday.

The former England international, who was part of his country's World Cup-winning team in 2003, has worked as Italy's attack coach under Conor O'Shea since 2016.
