Malaysia 7s stun Barbarians in Group B opener


SANDAKAN: Malaysia 7s got off to a stunning start in the Borneo Sevens rugby championships in Sandakan to show they were not prepared to be the whipping boys at the Com­monwealth Games.

The national team shocked Belgium Barbarians 21-14 in the opening Group B match at the Eagles Rugby Club yesterday.
