PORT ELIZABETH, South Africa (Reuters) - Flyhalf Handre Pollard will have to wait at least one more week before making his return for South Africa after he was ruled not ready to face Argentina in the Springboks’ Rugby Championship opener at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Pollard has been battling an ankle problem since April, having also missed the entire 2016 season through injury, but was included in the squad by coach Allister Coetzee for the visit of Argentina.
