KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Rugby Union (MRU) are hoping that the national team will get to compete in the playoff for a spot in the Premier Division of the Asian Rugby Championship.

Malaysia created history by winning the four-team Division One title on Sunday and national coach Lee Nyuk Fah and his men are eager to go one better by qualifying for the three-team Premier Division next season.
