LONDON (Reuters) - Loose forward Amanaki Mafi has been rewarded for his storming performance in the startling upset of South Africa by promotion to the starting line-up for Japan's second Pool D match against Scotland.

Tongan-born Mafi put in a monumental shift after replacing Hendrik Tui in the second half in Brighton on Saturday and provided the pass for Karne Hesketh's dramatic late winning try.
