JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Replacement hooker Armand van der Merwe scored the only try with the final play of the game as the Lions snatched a 22-18 victory over the Bulls in an all-South African Super Rugby clash at Ellis Park on Saturday.

The Lions refused the chance of an easy three points and a draw when they trailed late on, going for a quick tap restart from which Van der Merwe barged over the line to seal a third successive win for the home side.
